Digital Assistants

...of tomorrow

It’s been more than 10 months since I’ve written an article in this space, but it’s not because there was a lack of important or interesting things to talk about. During this time I’ve changed jobs and moved from one state to another, and life has just been advancing at a rapid pace so my focus has been elsewhere. Behind the scenes IT, InfoSec, AI and more has been moving even faster. I believe I still have some relevant thoughts on each and I’ve made a commitment to myself to invest the time and energy to dive back in and share via this forum even more with those of you gracious enough to hang around and give up some of your time to listen and respond to my various thoughts.

Having said that, this article is designed to merely grease the skids, if you will, by getting me re-engaged in the writing process by introducing you to someone that I follow pretty closely on a near daily basis that has been differentiating himself in the areas of AI and Information Security.

Daniel Miessler is the owner of the rapidly growing site Unsupervised Learning. I have been following him for some time now, digesting his content as quickly as it comes out. It was after consuming his most recent article AI's Predictable Path, and watching his associated YouTube video where he personally explains the article in a 70-minute rundown, that I was inspired to upgrade my membership from the free version I’ve taken advantage of for too long now, to the paid version he offers that I firmly believe will be very value-added to my life and interests.

I encourage anyone interested in AI or Information Security to check out Daniel Miessler’s site. My thoughts on randomly related content pales in comparison to the products he puts out, so if you are still reading this, wrap it up and go visit his site now.

Where I hopefully will still continue to provide value to you reader (for now) is in presenting my thoughts on topics relevant to you and curating the data and authors that are out there to get you more quickly to the information you need… Of course, as Daniel expertly points out, that process will all be replaced by the Digital Assistants of tomorrow, if it even takes that long…
