The Sign
While at a restaurant with the family this past week I saw an inspirational sign. It wasn't a new sign or message, but it contained a particularly meaningful series of thoughts. The sign read,
"Work for a cause, not for applause. Live life to express, not to impress. Don't strive to make your presence noticed, just make your absence felt"
These are three tenants that I fully agree with and will work to embrace even more in 2023 and beyond. Working in the IT department is already so much about servant leadership, customer service and generally putting the business first. When we make aspects of our work and life about serving others and not all about ourselves, then life (and work) becomes so much more meaningful and fulfilling. I'm not saying we should neglect our own opinions completely (as anyone who knows me understands I’m no wallflower, and that isn’t an issue I generally have), but when we only seek to shine the light on "me, myself and I" in the long run it generally ends up resulting in the complete opposite effect.
So when I queried Microsoft Image Creator to “create a sign that says ‘Work for a cause, not for applause. Live life to express, not to impress. Don't strive to make your presence noticed, just make your absence felt’” the below image is what it generated…… I’ve been getting pretty good and prompt engineering but getting text out of AI in signs and related just hasn’t been my forte yet.

Anyone have any feedback on the best prompts to use to get signage correct in AI image generators?
